GR: “Fighting against Tuberculosis Together” Round Table

Ukrainians against Tuberculosis Foundation and sanofi-aventis pharmaceutical company organised a round table “Fighting against tuberculosis together” in Kyiv, where representatives of Healthcare Ministry of Ukraine, non-governmental organisations and medical institutes were invited.

The main topics of the round table were an evaluation of tuberculosis situation in Ukraine and ways of control of epidemic, scarcity of medicines and equipment in healthcare institutes along with possibilities of pharmaceutical companies to help to fight against tuberculosis epidemic. As a result, the round table participants signed a resolution «On exigent measures of fight against tuberculosis epidemic in Ukraine», where key areas of possible cooperation were defined. 11 media representatives visited the round table to discuss problem of tuberculosis in Ukraine.

PRP Ukraine took part in the round table organisation and was responsible for media relations during the event.
