About the company

The ‘Slobozhanska Budivelna Keramika’ Company (SBK), the Ukrainian company with foreign investments, is a leader in wall ceramic material production in Ukraine. Facing ceramic brick sales in premium segment make 85% of the Company’s overall sales volume.

The Company has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1997. SBK Company, based on brick production facilities in Romny city (Sumy oblast, Ukraine), was found under the support of Western NIS Enterprise Fund, the American investment fund.

About cooperation with PRP Ukraine

PRP Ukraine provided SBK Company with PR services within the following key directions in 2007-2008:

• Special regional programs

Among key PR-activities provided there were the following:

• Media base elaboration for further communication with media

• Internal communication audit among the Company’s employees conduction

• Media relations (press releases, interviews, comments) and effective individual media relations within special news delivery

• Special media events arrangement – press conference, press briefing, press lunch, press tour to the brick production facility (Romny city, Ukraine)

• Communication with local communities – public hearings arrangement in the village of Ozera (Kyiv oblast, Ukraine)

• A business reception and press tour arrangement to the Company’s new enterprise, being built in the village of Ozera (Kyiv oblast, Ukraine). The event was held on the occasion of an EBRD delegation’s visit, headed by EBRD President, Jean Lemierre, to the enterprise.
